The Title

Someone said to me after a meaningful yet casual talk,  “thanks for being candid.”  I didn’t get what she really meant at first, but i learned it was for being “unedited and honest”. I’m not sure if i did her right for being candid the way she meant it, or did i just shatter any ideas she may have.  I really felt bad not knowing what to say after that. It was my insensitivity setting in again, i guess.

It is the word “candid” that may have influence me to create a blog. I wanted to write about my candid and random thoughts. Since there is a site already titled “candid thoughts”, I changed it to “Candid Standpoint” – my unedited and honest point of view.

My First Post

I always wanted to write, I am really not good at it, but I know I can. I used to write a lot of letters when I was younger, and believe me, I was good.  So I installed this blog on my website, but not to write letters, but to keep my mind off things, I’ve been in a lot of stress and mind boggling issues lately, and I thought of blogging as a fresh idea I can get into, instead of road trips and endless round of beers with old friends.

So this is it, I’ll be writing as if I’m talking to someone, with a lot of “I”s in my sentences, isn’t that weird?

Anyway, I am hoping to be a good blogger in soonest time possible, improve the number of page impressions to my mother site, and improve my sentence construction.
